The Delaware State Fair

Aeraci and her cowboy hat
Wee! I love this ride:)

I don't want to drive the tractor mom!

Last Monday, we went to the Delaware State Fair. It was Aeraci's first fair experience and she loved it. She was enthralled with the animals, her favorite was the sheep. Maybe she get's that from her mommy:) Her favorite ride was on Grandma's wheelchair, no tickets needed!! Grandma bought her a cowboy hat so that she would fit in, and boy did she look cute! The fair was very nice, and very clean. We were surprised how small it was, being a state fair, but after all Delaware is the "small wonder"!

Grandma home in recovery

This past week has been a little out of sorts. Grandma had her hip replacement last week and was in the hospital for 6 days. She came home Sunday and is recovering well. Aeraci is fascinated with her walker and likes to chase grandma. Aeraci is cruising all over the place, I think she will be walking before long. It is such a joy to watch her grow:)

It's been a while since I have posted, time has gotten away from me. What's new, well we celebrated Aeraci's first birthday on the 8th. It's hard to believe I have a one year old. She is crawling everywhere and happy as a lark. Last week she learned how to blow kisses; it's the sweetest thing in the world. On Tuesday we went to DC and saw the Crime and Punishment/CSI museum, which was very interesting, as well as attending a Marine Corps Honor Guard Parade at Arlington.

Beautiful Lancaster

The last 10 days have been a blast. Grandma and Grandpa Owens came to visit us, and we all had a great time. We went to Hershey Park and went on the rides and a water slide, it was a blast. Grandma Owens even went on one of the rollercoasters! We were quite the group, Breanne (my sister) Grandma Leah and Grandma Owens both in wheelchairs and Grandpa Owens. After the amusement park, we went to the Chocolate World to see how Hershey bars are made which was quite interesting. Aside from Hershey, we spent some time in Lancaster (amish country), Philly, Rehoboth Beach and D.C. It was a busy 10 days but we found to play Phase 10 most nights!

Aeraci the Little Helper

What? Was I not supposed to be here?

Aeraci Helping Mommy with the Laundry

Getting into Grandma's Yarn Basket

Aeraci is turning into such the little helper. She loves helping me unload the dishwasher and take the laundry out of the dryer. In the past month, she has really started moving. Aeraci is crawling at rapid speed and is pulling herself up on everything. Last night Aeraci pulled herself up onto the screen door, and I found her looking out at me when I was in the yard. I can't believe how fast she is growing up.
