Hello Daddy

Goodbye Grandma

Well, we finally made it home last Tuesday. It was a long day, which started out at 4:30a.m. in the west, and ended about 1:00a.m. in the east! We had a long day of flying, with stops in 4 states, although if you count the drive home to Delaware, we hit 5 states in 1 day, not bad! We were about 2 hours late getting in, and the airline broke my suitcase, but we were happy to see daddy. Aeraci didn't quite know what to think at first, but knew that she was home with her daddy. My wonderful husband picked us up in style, with a fresh haircut, my car all shiny and new again (clean), and a spotless house. He even took his girls to Buffalo Wild Wings for a date:) It is so good to be home!

You don't have a big car seat yet? I figured it'd be easier in the states and for the plane. I can't believe you flew for that long, in the states! It must have been a good ticket price.

When we flew from Japan and to the east coast we just used her regular car seat, and it was easier because it fit on the stroller and you could carry her in it. The last two times we flew to the west coast she has been a lap baby. I used my miles for our last trip, although they did end up charging me $75 because the reservations were not made more than 21 days in advance. Thanks United.
