Aeraci is growing up so quickly!!!

Aeraci having fun on the beach.
Watch out Aunt Bre, I'm climbing out!

Just kidding!

Aeraci has been changing so much lately. She is getting her first tooth!!!! I was convinced she was going to make it to her first birthday toothless:) Speed is a new accomplishment as well. Aeraci is moving very quickly now on all fours and is interested in EVERYTHING!!! I'm constantly behind her trying to prevent the next disaster, and I'm sure she thinks her new name is "Aeraci No"!!! She has been so slow and immobile for so long, this is definitely a new challenge for us.

Life Has Been Busy

It's good to have daddy home!

Look, when I turn it over water comes out!!

During the past couple of weeks life has been busy. Aaron got home on Sunday after being gone a month. I think he was a little disappointed when he came home to a massive to do list that had accumulated. Mom and I have been driving to Maryland a few times during the past couple of weeks to look at houses with Breanne. Aeraci has mastered crawling this past week, and has also found the dog's water dish, which she loves to pour out. After 11 months, we decided that Aeraci was ready for a big girl car seat, even though she still fits the infant seat guidelines. It's only been two days, but so far Aeraci seems to be enjoying her new seat, despite the picture:) It's hard to believe she is going to be one year old next month!

Back Home in the First State!

After 3 states in 2 weeks, Aeraci and I made it back home last week. We had a great time on our trip. We started out in Virginia, visiting Mamaw and Papaw for 3 days. We had a great time. Papaw took us to New Market where we saw the Battle of New Market reenactment. I have always wanted to see a civil war reenactment, and it was not disappointing. It was truly a piece of American history. Aeraci had a great time with Kaylin, and wow how he has grown; he is such a sweet little guy, and what a helper at one year old!
After 3 days in Virgina, we parted ways as Aaron went off to Charleston for training, and Aeraci and I headed off to North Carolina to see Lara and Jack Porter. We spent 6 days with our friends and had a wonderful time. Aaron drove up from Charleston and joined us for 3 of the six days. Jack Porter and Aeraci had so much fun together! It had been 4 months since they had last seen each other, but they did not take long familiarizing themselves with each other. It was so funny, Jack Porter literally ran circles around Aeraci.
As if two states were not enough to visit, Aeraci and I decided to follow Aaron back to Charleston for 2 days. We had a great time exploring Charleston. We saw the famous Rainbow Row, cobblestone streets and ended our trip with food poisoning. I think it was from the seafood restaurant we ate at Tuesday night.
Aeraci and I pulled into town Wednesday night and only had one day to relax before Breanne, Mom and her friend Pam arrived from the long road trip from Washington State; which was followed by a busy weekend of seeing the sights of Delaware. Pam flew back to Washington yesterday and things are getting back to a new way of normal. Breanne is staying with me for a couple weeks while house hunting, and mom is going to be here for several months as she will have a hip replacement and will stay through her recovery.
